Hydrogenated rosin (yellow) is a modified rosin produced from natural rosin through a catalytic hydrogenation process. The hydrogenation process saturates the conjugated double bonds in the resin acids (e.g., colophonic acid), the primary components of rosin. This significantly enhances the product's stability, imparting excellent oxidation resistance, light resistance, and thermal stability. This product features a light yellow color and a hard, brittle texture. It serves as a crucial raw mater

I. Product Overview:
Hydrogenated rosin (yellow) is a modified rosin produced from natural rosin through a catalytic hydrogenation process. The hydrogenation process saturates the conjugated double bonds in the resin acids (e.g., colophonic acid), the primary components of rosin. This significantly enhances the product's stability, imparting excellent oxidation resistance, light resistance, and thermal stability. This product features a light yellow color and a hard, brittle texture. It serves as a crucial raw material in high-performance adhesives, synthetic rubber, inks, coatings, and other fine chemical applications.

III. Product Characteristics:
Superior Oxidation Stability: Hydrogenation eliminates easily oxidized groups in the molecule, preventing discoloration and oxidation product formation under high temperatures and prolonged storage. This extends the service life of end products.
Excellent Thermal Stability: Significantly outperforms ordinary rosin and its esters in high-temperature resistance. Maintains stable performance during high-temperature processing with minimal decomposition and smoke emission.
Light Color: Pale yellow hue with exceptional color retention, suitable for light-colored or white products with stringent color requirements.
Outstanding Adhesion and Cohesive Strength: As a tackifying resin, it effectively enhances the initial tack, holding power, and peel strength of adhesives and pressure-sensitive adhesives.
Good Compatibility: Exhibits excellent compatibility with thermoplastic elastomers (SBS, SIS, SEBS), EVA resins, natural rubber, synthetic rubber, and various polymers and plasticizers.
Low Acid Value: Minimal corrosion to metals and low irritation to bonded materials.
IV. Product Applications:
Adhesive and Pressure-Sensitive Adhesive Industry:
Serves as a core tackifying resin in the production of hot melt adhesives (HMA), hot melt pressure-sensitive adhesives (HMPSA), solvent-based adhesives, etc.
Widely used in sanitary products (diapers, sanitary napkins), packaging tapes, labels, bookbinding, woodworking adhesives, and other fields.
Synthetic Rubber Industry:
Serves as a tackifier and plasticizer for elastomers like SBS and SIS, used in footwear materials, asphalt modification, and plastic modification.
Ink Industry:
Used in manufacturing quick-drying inks, offset printing inks, and gravure printing inks, providing excellent adhesion, gloss, and abrasion resistance.
Paint Industry:
Serves as a film-forming aid or modifier in varnishes, road marking paints, and anti-corrosion coatings, enhancing coating hardness, gloss, and adhesion.
Other Applications:
Electronic flux, medicinal plasters, wax products, etc.
V. Product Packaging:
25 kg per bag. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated warehouse, away from direct sunlight and high temperatures. Keep away from fire sources and heat.
