Product Characteristics:
Excellent slip properties
Provides a soft hand feel on leather surfaces
Superior abrasion resistance
Outstanding water repellency
Anti-frosting properties
Product Applications:
Used as an additive, compatible with acrylic resins and polyurethanes;
Enhances softness and wear resistance;
Easily dispersible in water and solvents; suitable solvents include alcohol, ethylene glycol, and dimethylformamide.
Usage Instructions:
The addition rate of Anti-Silicone Agent 3238 in leather finishing ranges from 0.5% to 4.0%, depending on desired properties. For use as a smoothness agent, 0.5% is sufficient.
Anti-silicone Agent 3238 is a high-viscosity additive. It is recommended to prepare a masterbatch containing 40% of this product and 60% diluent to prevent caking in the final product. The diluent must be slowly added to the paste while thoroughly mixing.
Traditional processing methods can be used in the final stage of leather finishing. Anti-silicone Agent 3238 is compatible with organic resins and will not contaminate the processing equipment.
