V. Application Method:
Pre-Application Preparation: Ensure the substrate surface is clean, dry, and free of oil, dust, or other contaminants. For wood, sanding is required to achieve a smooth, even finish. Clean any stains from leather surfaces beforehand. Fabrics must be pre-washed and air-dried. Verify paper and film surfaces are flawless.
Thorough Mixing: Before use, mix Waterborne Polyurethane 3025 thoroughly to ensure uniform dispersion of all components, guaranteeing consistent application results.
Application Method Selection
Spraying: Use a dedicated spray gun with a nozzle diameter of 0.8–2.0 mm based on actual requirements. Maintain spray pressure at 0.3–0.5 MPa. Apply 2–3 even coats at a distance of 15–25 cm from the surface, allowing approximately 15–20 minutes between coats to ensure uniform coverage and appropriate thickness.
Brushing: Use a high-quality brush and apply in a single direction to avoid brush marks from back-and-forth strokes. Apply with consistent pressure to ensure uniform coating thickness. Typically apply 2-3 coats, allowing each coat to dry before applying the next. Drying time per coat is approximately 2-4 hours (actual time depends on ambient temperature and humidity).
Dip Coating: Suitable for small or complex-shaped objects. Fully immerse the object in Waterborne Polyurethane 3025, ensuring complete surface saturation. Slowly remove the object, drain excess coating, and hang to air dry or oven dry.
VI. Product Packaging:
50KG/drum. Store in a well-ventilated, dry, cool warehouse away from direct sunlight and high temperatures. Keep away from fire and heat sources to prevent thermal degradation.
