Hydrogenated rosin alcohol is a high-performance modified resin alcohol produced through catalytic hydrogenation, esterification, and reduction of natural rosin. Characterized by its light color, excellent thermal stability, strong oxidation resistance, and mild odor, it finds extensive applications in adhesives, inks, coatings, electronic encapsulation, and other fields.

Product Features:
Superior stability, exceptional compatibility, eco-friendly and safe properties, and broad applicability.
IV. Product Applications:
Electronic Chemicals: Functions as a fluxing agent in environmentally friendly, colorless, no-clean flux and solder paste products, effectively enhancing soldering results while requiring minimal cleaning. This significantly improves post-soldering cleanliness and convenience for electronic components.
Rubber Industry:
Used as a plasticizer and tackifier in natural and synthetic rubber, improving processing properties and physical characteristics while enhancing the adhesion and flexibility of rubber products.
Adhesive Applications:
Serves as a tackifying resin in hot-melt adhesives, boosting adhesion strength across diverse substrates. Widely employed in packaging, bookbinding, and related industries.
Coatings Industry: It modifies fluorocarbon coating systems. Adding hydrogenated rosin alcohol improves the hardness and adhesion of modified fluorocarbon coating films. At a hydrogenated rosin alcohol mass fraction of 0.75%, the coating film achieves a hardness of 5H and an adhesion strength of 12.483 MPa. However, its addition negatively impacts the coating's acid resistance and has some adverse effects on alkali and saltwater resistance. Regarding alkali resistance, no abnormalities were observed after 10 days at a mass fraction of 0.75%. Similarly, no abnormalities were noted after 10 days of exposure to 3.5% saline solution.
Other Applications: Due to its low volatility, mild nature, and good color, it can be used as a fixative in low-value products, as a fragrance in the perfume and fragrance industry; it can also be used to produce modified oils and oil-free alkane resins, lubricant additives, and other products based on raw ethanol.
V. Usage Recommendations:
Dissolution Method: Heating to 60-80°C with stirring is recommended to accelerate dissolution.
Compatibility: Exhibits good compatibility with elastomers such as EVA, SBS, and SIS; can be used with plasticizers (e.g., DOP).
Addition Rate: Typically 5-30% of total formulation (adjust according to application).
VI. Product Packaging:
25KG/bag. Store in a cool, dry place away from light in a sealed container. Shelf life: 24 months.
