Application
Application Areas | Specific Applications | Effect Description |
Architectural Decoration Industry | Protection for aluminum alloy door and window profiles, PVC-coated steel profiles, wood veneer panels, and aluminum-plastic composite panels | During construction, prevent scratches and contamination on profiles and panels to maintain material appearance and enhance architectural aesthetics. |
Furniture Manufacturing Industry | Protection for various wood-based panels (e.g., particleboard, MDF) and plastic furniture components | Protect raw materials and semi-finished goods in furniture production, reducing surface damage to improve finished product quality and visual appeal. |
Advertising Production Industry | Protection for signage materials (e.g., acrylic sheets, PVC panels) | Prevent surface scratches and wear during advertising panel processing, transportation, and installation to ensure optimal visual display. |
Packaging Industry | Protection for electronic product packaging boards and hardware accessory packaging materials | Safeguard packaging profiles and panels against damage during packing and transit, indirectly protecting enclosed products. |
Product Features:
Medium-viscosity emulsion with moderate initial tack and peel strength, offering excellent adhesion.
V. Application Method:
Substrate Preparation: Ensure profiles and panels are clean, dry, and free of oil, dust, release agents, or other contaminants. For stains, wipe with a clean soft cloth dampened with a dedicated cleaner, then rinse with water and air-dry.
Emulsion Preparation: Adjust emulsion viscosity as needed using deionized water. Recommended dilution ratio: ≤10%. Stir thoroughly until uniform. For color matching, add appropriate amount of water-based color paste and mix until color is consistent.
Application Methods:
Spraying: Use an air compressor or airless sprayer. Maintain a 15–25 cm distance between the spray gun and the material surface. Adjust air pressure to 0.3–0.5 MPa. Apply 2–3 coats using uniform cross-hatch spraying, allowing 1–2 hours between coats (adjust based on ambient temperature and humidity). Ensure even coating distribution with a dry film thickness of 8–12μm.
Brush/Roller Application: Apply evenly with a high-quality brush or roller following the material's grain direction, avoiding back-and-forth strokes. Pre-coat edges, corners, and holes to prevent missed areas. Apply 2–3 coats for optimal coverage.
Drying Conditions: After applying the emulsion, profiles and panels may dry naturally at room temperature or enter drying equipment. Set drying temperature to 40–60°C (104–140°F) for 4–8 hours to ensure complete emulsion drying and film formation.
Environmental Requirements: Apply at temperatures ≥3°C (37°F) and relative humidity ≤85%. Avoid application during rainy, windy, or high-temperature conditions with direct strong sunlight. During winter application, implement appropriate heating measures to maintain the required environmental temperature.
Film Removal Recommendations:
Remove the protective film at an appropriate time based on actual usage conditions.
When removing the film, peel it off slowly starting from the edges of the material to prevent residue or damage to the surface caused by tearing.
