Application
Application Areas | Specific Applications | Effect Description |
Architectural Decoration Industry | Protection for frosted glass doors and windows, frosted metal trim, and frosted stone panels | Prevents surface scratches and contamination during construction, preserving the material's unique matte texture while enhancing the premium quality and artistic effect of architectural finishes. |
Furniture Manufacturing Industry | Protection for frosted acrylic furniture panels and frosted wood panels | Protects raw materials and semi-finished goods during furniture production, preventing surface damage to ensure the finished product's refined texture and aesthetic appeal. |
Electronics and Appliances Industry | Protection for frosted plastic enclosures (e.g., smart speakers, monitor housings) and frosted metal panels | Prevents surface abrasion of electronic products during manufacturing, transportation, and sales, maintaining their exquisite appearance and elevating brand image. |
Advertising and Signage Industry | Protection for frosted acrylic signage and frosted metal identification plates | Prevents scratches during advertising panel processing and installation, ensuring optimal display quality and extending signage lifespan. |
Product Features:
Medium-to-high viscosity emulsion with high initial tack and peel strength.
V. Application Method:
Substrate Preparation: Ensure finely sanded profiles and panels are clean, dry, and free of oil, dust, release agents, or other contaminants. For stubborn stains, gently wipe with a lint-free cloth dampened with a specialized cleaner, then rinse with water and air-dry.
Emulsion Preparation: Adjust emulsion viscosity as needed using deionized water. Recommended dilution ratio: ≤8%. Stir thoroughly until uniform. For color matching, add appropriate amount of water-based color paste and mix until color is consistent.
Application Methods:
Spraying: Use an air compressor or airless sprayer. Maintain a 15–25 cm distance between the spray gun and the material surface. Adjust air pressure to 0.3–0.5 MPa. Apply 2–3 coats using uniform cross-hatch spraying, allowing 1–2 hours between coats (adjust based on ambient temperature and humidity). Ensure even coating distribution with a dry film thickness of 6–10μm.
Brush/Roller Application: Apply evenly with a high-quality brush or roller along the material grain direction, avoiding back-and-forth strokes. Pre-coat edges, corners, and grooves to prevent missed areas. Apply 2–3 coats for optimal coverage.
Drying Conditions: After applying the emulsion, profiles and panels can dry naturally at room temperature or enter drying equipment. Set drying temperature to 50–70°C (122–158°F) for 4–8 hours to ensure complete emulsion drying and film formation.
Environmental Requirements: Apply at temperatures ≥3°C (37°F) and relative humidity ≤85%. Avoid application during rainy, windy, or high-temperature conditions with direct strong sunlight. During winter application, implement appropriate heating measures to maintain the required environmental temperature.
Film Removal Recommendations:
Remove the protective film at an appropriate time based on actual usage conditions. When peeling, start slowly from the edges of the material to prevent residue or damage to the fine-sanded surface caused by tearing.
