Foral™ AX-E fully hydrogenated rosin is a thermoplastic acid resin produced by hydrogenating rosin to a high degree. It is the lightest and most stable rosin commercially available from Eastman. Compared to Staybelite™ Resin-E partially hydrogenated rosin, Foral AX-E offers a lighter color and higher oxidation resistance. I. Product Overview:
Foral™ AX-E fully hydrogenated rosin is a thermoplastic acid resin produced by hydrogenating rosin to a high degree. It is the lightest and most stable rosin commercially available from Eastman. Compared to Staybelite™ Resin-E partially hydrogenated rosin, Foral AX-E offers a lighter color and higher oxidation resistance. Long favored for its light color and superior oxidation resistance, it delivers better initial color and color retention, along with even greater oxidation stability.
These exceptional tackifiers and resin modifiers are particularly noteworthy in solvent-based adhesives and hot-melt coated coatings and adhesives. They are also used in UV-curable acrylic resins to enhance adhesion to low-surface-energy substrates.

Product Features:
Alcohol-soluble, compatible with UV acrylic adhesives, excellent oxidation resistance, high acid value, improved adhesion to low surface energy substrates, medium softening point, thermoplastic hydrogenated resin, very light color.

Adhesives/sealants, bookbinding, non-food contact bottle caps, carpet construction, box and carton lids, commercial printing inks, film modification, sanitary adhesives, non-food contact labels, packaging tapes, polymer modification, protective coatings, road marking, roofing materials, flux, solvent-based packaging adhesives, specialty tapes, cables.
V. Product Packaging:
25 kg bags or 225 kg galvanized drums.
